borrow In our tubing adventure the next morning we make two bicycles and a little trip. It goes to the "blue lagoon" is located in the north of Vang Vieng.
The way to this blue lagoon is not much different from the other roads in Laos, it is simply a dirt road;)
Since there are no signs, we ask a local for directions.
he explains enthusiastically where to go, and warns us to guard against the fake lagoon.
An enterprising villagers have set up half way is a sign, "make a right, 300m to the blue lagoon", but it is just his little pond behind the house he the visitors, after a horrendous admission, shows ...
We are warned, and promise to take care ;)
After twenty more minutes, we did it and finally arrived at the entrance. We find out quickly what it is actually the blue lagoon.
It is a small stream, the clear blue water and has a large cave, for which we have donated about 2 €.
The lagoon was a short fun but it was truly worth it. We drive through picturesque landscapes and take the road villagers to wash their laundry in the river ... On these impressions, we would wait in vain for the city ...
In Vang Vieng we stay only a short swing and us right back to the wheels.
We follow the river up and come after half an hour to the famous Bar # 1, we have missed the day before. Here's a big party in full swing!
All are celebrating on and can be personalized with spray cans and stencils to paint on the upper body. Also write the staff of the bar # 2 as dirty sayings, with a permanent Edding on body score and red headbands ...
A bucket, a small bucket of Vodka-Cola, etc., costs about 3.50 Euro and pretty much everybody here has at least one bucket in hand;)
We do not have to look long and find the four Britons with our two Dutch again.
Although our Tubing Day starts late, we get an equal and celebrate;) has
Each bar zip lines, which we firmly adhere to jump after a long swing in the flow. It is crystal clear why people come here from every part of the world, for tubing.
